Back in the old days, I worked for a SUPER COOL AD AGENCY called
Butler, Shine, Stern and Partners
Working for a super cool advertising agency feels like stepping into a buzzing creative playground
every day. The atmosphere is electric — a vibrant mix of energy, ambition, and unapologetic
originality. Picture vintage horror movie memorabilia, fake body parts sticking out of walls, dogs
barking and an espresso machine that never sleeps.
Brainstorms here aren’t meetings; they’re mini revolutions. Ideas bounce off the walls, fueled
by caffeine, pop culture references, and a little healthy competition. You’ll find yourself
sketching out concepts with copywriters who think in punchlines, strategists who see trends before
they exist, and designers who treat pixels like poetry. It was located in Sausalito, CA—one of the
best places on earth. It was loud. It was fast and a little chaotic. I played the part of a Graphic
Designer using the Brand Guidelines as my layout companion.
